You’re Invited: Field to Vase Dinner Tour

Field to Vase Dinner

Being that Mayesh is headquartered in California, we have a long standing history of supporting our American flower farmers, so when we found out about the 2015 American Grown Field to Vase Dinner Tour, we knew we wanted to participate!

The March 5th dinner in Carpinteria, CA is the first of 10 dinners that brings together local food, beverages, and, of course, flowers.

“Each Field to Vase Dinner will highlight an “up and coming” chef who passionately supports local farmers including flower farms. The menu will feature regional, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients.

A Slow Flowers floral designer will create centerpieces that connect the farm’s surroundings with the decor, the style and the experience. We’ll frame the conversation to highlight the story of the host farm’s own heritage as well as focus on the positive efforts/activities of the new Certified American Grown brand. Each participant will feel excitement for being part of something big, something to celebrate, something to love; American Grown flowers.”

As a wholesale sponsor, we are able to offer you a $50 discount for the Carpinteria, CA dinner at Westland Orchids on March 5th!  If you are interested in attending and supporting this great cause, click this link to purchase your tickets and enter “MAYESH” for the promo code.

Each Field to Vase diner will bring home new insights into the the American floral landscape, along with a local floral memento and gift bag from their visit.
