“Catalyst for Inspiration”
Feat. Paul Jaras AIFD, CFD, Susanne Law AIFD, CFD and Brenna Quan AIFD, CFD
A team of floral experts with very different design styles conducted this program. Each member challenged one another in coming up with a design that fit into their chosen theme. By doing this each person got to push themselves to fit into many boxes.
The first theme was “Mid-Century Mod” chosen by Paul Jaras. I am a huge fan of mid century modern everything so I was very excited to see each person’s take on the design style. Using a very minimal color pallet, simple lines and geometric shapes, they gave you the feeling that you were overlooking the Manhattan cityscape in a swanky apartment that would make even Don Draper melt.
Brenna Quan was the leader in the “Fairytale” theme. Creating a whimsical world of enchantment, beauty and all around adorableness that was fit for the fantasyland style wedding or a birthday party that only a child’s wildest dreams could think up.
Lastly we were seduced by “Ignite”. Susanne Law wanted to create the perfect setting to ignite passion, magnetism and sensuality and boy did it work! Again, the color pallet was minimal but had such a strong impact. Black, white and red were the main colors of inspiration and gave the whole set a very sexy, intimate vibe.
As I mentioned in the beginning, I was very drawn the mid-century theme but we want to know which of the three would be your ideal setting?
