Member of succulent family with waxy texture to stems and foliage, Flowers are actually tiny florets. When harvested they resemble broccoli heads.
Care and Handling:
The flowers like high humidity and while normal cold storage is acceptable a temperature around 45°F is ideal. Check the flowers for dehydration, especially the outer petals. Remove lower leaves and cut crisply at an angle using a sharp utensil. Thereafter, the flowers should be hydrated in a low sugar holding solution.
