Lavender has been treasured by civilized man for several thousand years, as it has been used medicinally, but more notably as a soothing oil used for bathing and washing. This is a classic herb with all parts of the plant being fragrant.
Care and Handling:
Inspect flowers carefully upon arrival checking that the blooms are not dropping. Some lavenders, especially English Lavender may be shipped without leaves. French and Spanish lavenders are generally shipped with foliage. Stems should be cut and the flowers hydrated in a low sugar holding solution. The lower leaves should be stripped prior to hydration.
