Bay Laurel

Decorative dark green lanceolate leaves born on laterals on long semi-woody stems. Bay laurel, or Laurus nobilis, was used by Romans to denote victors of athletic events. At certain times of year bears alternately tiny flowers and subsequently small fruits Stems should be cut and the leaves hydrated in a low sugar holding solution. Branches are tall and should be supported.
