Lily Royal

The group of Royal lilies is a result of crossing Asiatic Lilies with Lilium longiflorum, the result being a stronger class of lilies than the Asiatics, blooms somewhat more trumpet-shaped, and petals that are noticeably sturdier. Royal lilies were developed by Sun Valley, who acquired all the genetic material developed by Jan de Graaff and Leslie Woodruff, and who are well poised to make more significant introductions in the future.

All lilies have anthers that produce significant amounts of pollen that can stain the flower and clothing. It is suggested you remove them as soon as blooms start to open.
