Flannel Flower

The flower isn’t new by any means, but it is new to me.  I first saw this bloom, which hails from Australia, at the recent Wholesale Florist & Florist Supplier Association (WF&FSA) conference – it is called Flannel Flower.  After spotting it at the show, our Cleveland branch brought some in to check out and Brian, the branch manager, said that it looks really nice and holds up.

A quick fun fact: this plant belongs to the carrot family.

Have you used this flower before?  If so, what do you think about it?
