Mayesh Wholesale Florist announced today that it will open a new wholesale floral distribution business in Houston, Texas on April 11, 2016. The Houston branch will be the 17th wholesale location and first in the state of Texas for Mayesh. Founded in 1978 in Los Angeles, Mayesh is a leading distributor of high quality floral products used by florists and wedding and event specialists all over the United States. The Houston operation will offer a robust fresh inventory of novelty and high end flowers sourced from around the world as well as non-perishable floral supplies.
Mayesh CEO Patrick Dahslon said, “We are thrilled to establish a business in the state of Texas. Getting to Houston, in particular, has long been a goal of our company as we recognize the great number of talented and innovative floral professionals operating here. The new Mayesh branch is located at 470 Garden Oaks Boulevard, in Houston and will be led by the recent manager of the Mayesh Las Vegas branch, Jonahs Kneitly. The first day of business will be April 11 and the Grand Opening celebration is scheduled for April 19. Here are the details:

Can you believe that it has been already been a month since our Miami branch opened its by-the-bunch cooler? Mayesh Wholesale Florist announced today that on November 3rd it will launch a wholesale floral distribution business in Miami to support the needs of top florists and event specialists in Florida, along with designers in the Eastern half of the U.S. Founded in 1978 in Los Angeles, California, Mayesh is the nation’s leading supplier to wedding and event florists. As the 18th wholesale location for the company, Mayesh Miami will offer a robust fresh inventory of novelty and high end flowers sourced from around the world, including a by-the-bunch inventory.
Mayesh CEO Patrick Dahlson said, “We are excited to be in the South Florida marketplace to bring the best of what Mayesh does to this vibrant and growing area of the country.”
The wholesale location is located at 1456 NW 82nd Avenue, adjacent to the Mayesh import and distribution hub. The business will be led by Brian Ashton who grew up in the wholesale floral business in Cleveland, Ohio and has been with Mayesh since 2010. “Brian is a young and progressive wholesale professional and will bring an entrepreneurial energy to our newest Mayesh branch,” said Dahlson.

On Friday, March 14, 2014, Mayesh Wholesale Florist of Los Angeles, CA and Billingsley Wholesale Florist of Portland, Oregon announced that Mayesh will acquire the business operations and certain assets of Billingsley, effective March 31, 2014. The Portland unit will begin operating under the Mayesh name on March 31 and will be its 17th branch.
“Billingsley has long been recognized as a terrific operation with a passion for quality flowers and great customer service,” said Pat Dahlson, CEO of Mayesh. “We are absolutely thrilled to partner with the Eichorn and Billingsley families in this transition and believe that the culture and values of our two companies are aligned and a great fit with one another.
