Our Roses at Coach’s Poppy Flower Launch

Each week we get to be involved in some exciting projects and events – working with the most renowned floral designers to start-ups to everything in between in the event world.  Recently, Mayesh Wholesale Florist had the pleasure of working with a project for Coach’s launch of their new perfume, Poppy Flower, at Macy’s in South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa.  We were contracted by the Geoff Howell Studio, a New York company, to provide roses for the event.

Our job was to deliver 1000 wholesale roses a day – processed, stripped, cut to length and conditioned for seven days to Macy’s.  We set up the initial display in the buckets and then subsequent deliveries would be incorporated into the display by on site personnel.

In addition to Coach and Geoff Howell Studio wanting 7000 fresh cut roses to be incorporated into the Poppy Flower launch, they also brought in a celebrity designer, Denise Porcaro, from Flower Girl to host flower design demonstrations!  Incorporating social media, Coach tweeted out pro tips during their demo.  Check out the pictures and tweets below.

Thank you to Geoff Howell Studio for thinking of us!  And a huge THANKS to everyone that allows us the privilege to be involved in your events!

Pretty cool, right?  I love when other brands incorporate and promote flowers!
