  • Description:
    The name Ageratum is derived from the Greek word "a geras." The nature of the flower is very fitting as "a geras" means non-aging. These purple/blue flowers are very long lasting is properly hydrated and cared for.

    Care and Handling:
    Check flowers are bright and upright, that foliage is dark green and that the stems are erect. Stems should be cut cleanly and crisply and placed immediately into water. Any leaves that will be submerged should be removed. The stems should be cut and the flowers hydrated in a low sugar holding solution and then stored in the cooler.
