What's hot and what's not?  Eliminate the "not" because anything flower related is all hot!!  Vintage romance, traditional elegance, modern with an edgy twist and garden simplicity are all very popular looks in the floral industry right now.  The vast array of talent that our industry possesses is INCREDIBLE.  Here are some examples of current floral trends that is HOT HOT HOT!!!!

  • garden roses and peonies
  • succulents
  • berries, pods, textural greens
  • the color CORAL (please refer to my blurb about coral)
  • anything in peach, cream, blush, pale yellow and once again CORAL

The list is endless and I could go on for days, but I want hear from you!  What  floral trends are you currently seeing?  What's HOT HOT HOT??

"Never sell a  specific flower (unless mother nature confirms it will be available).  Sell a specific look, sell a specific style, sell your passion and the rest is left to follow."

I plan on bringing our readers all things flora and fun, mixed with some serious posts about the flower business. I like to think of myself as pretty well-rounded - having passion for design (flowers, web, decor, etc.), marketing, photography, tech, and business. I'm a huge believer in continual education, so I'm always looking for new ideas and hope to share that journey with you!

Hola! My goal for this blog is to help navigate the winding waters of the floral industry. We will have a lot of fun along the way of course. We will cover everything from recaps of shows across the world, tips and tricks, trends and of course those questions we all have but are too embarrassed to ask our sales rep. Have no fear Sabrina the Explorer is here!...with backpack, map and all *wink*
