Mayesh Wholesale Florist hosted its first ever National Open House and Design Contest for floral industry professionals, retail florists, and event designers on January 12, 2011. The competition focused on products that are just as beautiful and show the same amount of love as the red rose. Each of Mayesh’s locations declared a local design contest winner that had the privilege of moving on to the national level competition. After a week of voting that spanned from January 14th until the 20th and over 2358 votes placed, the company can finally announce who the winners are of Mayesh’s 1st Annual National Design Competition!
The 1st Prize goes to Brandon Sitler, a designer at Flowerville in University Heights, Ohio. Flowerville is a customer of Mayesh’s Cleveland location. Brandon won a trip for 2 to his choice of Miami or Los Angeles for 4 days and 3 nights, which will include a flower industry tour led by Mayesh’s CEO Pat Dahlson.
The 2nd Prize goes to Andrea Fitzpatrick, a designer at Corona del Mar Florist in Corona del Mar, California. Corona Del Mar Florist is a customer of Mayesh’s Orange County location. Andrea won the hottest gadget on the market, an Apple iPad.
3rd Prize goes to Lori Vanderhoof, a designer at MGM Resorts Events, in Las Vegas, Nevada. MGM Resorts Events is a customer of Mayesh’s Las Vegas location. Lori won the must have Flip Video Camcorder.
