We had a blast bringing our floral community together on Wednesday to celebrate the “Art of Flowers”!  Our open house or contest would not have been anything without our amazing customers!  Thank you for your support and helping to rally the floral artisan community.  The centerpiece of our national event (besides our awesome wholesale flowers) was the start of our design contest in which we had 254 floral designs entered and voted on by your peers.  Of the hundreds of designs, we now have our top 15 floral designers that will compete for our grand prize - a trip to Miami and an 2012 AIFD National Symposium full registration!  Don’t forget that the 2nd prize winner takes home an iPad 2, a useful tool for event consultations and our 3rd prize will receive a 1 year subscription for the award-winning magazine, Fusion Flowers plus a $200 Mayesh gift certificate! No matter the results, each of our local winners take home Alicia Schwede’s resourceful and inspiring book, “Bella Bouquets”.

Congratulations to our top 15 list below, you will be moving on to the next round!  Voting begins today and will be open until 7 pm PST January 25th with the winners announced on January 27th.  Be sure to vote for your favorite and help spread the word to the rest of our community to vote for their favorite as well!
